Energy Performance Certificates

It is a legal requirement to provide a Commercial Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) with the sales particulars for any commercial property (with just a few exceptions) that is to be marketed for sale or to let in England and Wales.

• Level 3 & 4 Commercial energy performance certificates (EPCs)
• Display Energy Certificates for public buildings over 1,000 sqm (DECs)
• Specialist advisers to improve property efficiency and lower CO2 emissions and running costs

The Commercial EPC is made up of two parts:-

• A bar chart giving the building an efficiency rating from A-G by estimating how much carbon dioxide escapes into the atmosphere
• Recommendations of how the rating can be improved.
